All they need to protect our nation?
Maybe my young blogger friend Finn is right- maybe Bush will sell oil from the strategic reserve. Then maybe we can afford to do that.

Now I can focus on the NASA reports about asteroid TU24. Media surpressed to avoid national panic. FYI - It will be passing Earth at 3:33am this coming morning. Potential dangers.

so, I'm getting on a plane in the AM... magnetic dust gonna crash me to the earth?
ah...hardly.
well, the asteroid will bring electromagnetic pressure waves and the average in-flight exposure to radiation may be more than doubled. but that's if the asteroid has a negative charge and NASA isn't telling us whether that is the case.
