seriously, don't you think they are a tad intimidated by a smart, capable woman who is old enough to be there mom?

I completely agree. I am in that "under 30" set and I do feel that way. She is older than my parents are, and has a daughter that is exactly my age. I can totally see her being the kill-joy, nagging mom.
Obama is a fresh face, nearly 15 years her junior. He talks a good game, is very charismatic, and smokes. He's got the young'ens in his back pocket. I'm thrilled that he is mobilizing the youth vote the way that he is.
I truly wish that Clinton could shed that image and catch some of the youth support!
