It's Time

You all know I am a die hard Clinton supporter. I was hoping for a close race in North Carolina and a blow out in Indiana.

No luck.

And now? It's time. It's time for Clinton to concede.

The fat lady is singing.

Let's get together people and win in November.

say it aint so!

i've said it again and again, i'll vote for him if he is the nominee, but if michigan and florida are not brought into the final numbers, i will not be happy about it, and i'm in a very blue state. nader anyone? just kidding.

bottm line: when i hear john mccain talk about his promise to appoint conservative judges to the supreme court, it could not matter LESS who the nominee is, i'll be voting democrat.

Sara, you must immediately don your ruby slippers. I say she could still pull it off somehow. She is like the energizer bunny!

I know how you feel as she was my first choice as well, but hey, now we have to figure out how to heal.

And just remember. There is always Thailand. Bob

i agree, continuing much longer will only hurt the party and make her look mean spirited. time to unite and get on to the bigger picture.

I agree it's probably time for her to concede, but I predict she won't do it until after West Virginia, which is next Tuesday. She will win really big there, but there are simply not enough delegates in that state to make a difference. But with a big win, she can go out on a positive note, keeping her options brighter for the future.

What do you think?

Unless she gets an influx of money, like after PA., she will be conceding this week. And I don't think the money is coming in that she needs to continue. The desire, spirit and will is there, but not the money. It is unfortunate about FL and MI. I believe the pundits would be shaking a whole different story at this point if those states were brought in at the start.

It's been a tough race, but I agree the important thing now is to unite to defeat McCain in November. No matter who wins, he or she will be way better than the alternative. I think Obama will win big in Oregon. As for MI & FL, I think FL could be counted, and probably should; but Obama wasn't even on the ballot in MI, did not run there at all. That's a mess, because if you count them, you disenfranchise Obama voters. If you don't, you disenfranchise Clinton voters. I'd say tie goes to the rules. Everyone knew they were not to count.
At any rate, congrats to Hillary on a well-run race. I still think she'd be a great choice for the Supreme Court!

morale is low today among most pro clinton blogs. i certainly am feeling majorly dissapointed by last night's results. but, she will have two wins with WV, KY, and a third with PR. if in that time something can be resolved in regards to MI and FL that is fair, i'll feel better about the end result. obviously the math is not there, i hate echoing the pundits but thats unfortunatley a fact. but i don't think she should drop out, but if things don't shift in a big way among superdelegates, and nothing huge hits obama enough to derail him, its going to be hard to convince supporters and superdelegates to take it to the convention floor.

i also don't think its going to be that hard to get democrats together when you consider the issues. hopefully once the popularity contest is over the focus can come back to issues and gop vs dem platforms.

the money thing just plain sucks. but if mitt romney were the republican in the race he'd be giving himself money left and right, and i don't think people would paint it in as much of a negative way as they do when she does it. maybe its becuase he's a republican? i don't know. its just a feeling i have.

im sure cindy mccain has figured out a way to give john some of her fortune as well.

i say people should get over it, but of course, anything she does is magnified by the idiots on tv.

Has her campaign said anything about how much they have raised since her appeal for donations during her victory speech last night?

She lent herself the 6 million over the last month. It wasn't last night or today.

the campaign website goes directly to the donate page.

time, people. I really believe it's time to let go.

And I swear, if Obama loses in November, I'm going to be so ripshit...
