What a great piece Sara.

It amazes me too that people can be so critical.....and stupid.

Especially when they hear kids are involved. They think we are doing "something to corupt them" in some way and subjecting them to our lifestyle is unfair.....

What makes me laugh even harder is that I know plenty of straight parents who do nothing but abuse and neglect their kids - but that seems to be ok.

Anyway, Maine sounds wonderful. I have only been there once - white water rafting in the 80's....Kennebunkport (sp?)I loved it

I thought I was hot stuff for having known Kim Fellner.

What a wonderful piece.

you ply me with vodka and now you tell me we were wearing bonnets. i hope you keep THAT picture private!

as your post says, unless you were born in maine, you will never be a mainer. i have lived here for 25 years, and am no more a mainer than the day i arrived! so, mary is not a mainer either. she lives in maine, and her partner is a mainer, but she herself is from upstate new york. you know any other fabulous women from upstate new york? my mind is a blank! LMAO
