I dont think it matters who was for or against the war. We're there now. So what are we going to do about it? What do we do, moving forward?

I agree...but geez. I'm sick of the history backstory. What the hell are you doing to do about the problems TODAY?
Lots of us oldtimers think that if you don't know any history, you're going to make the same mistakes again. And again. :-)
On of Obama's people should be out in the audience holding up a sign that says SMILE.
Don't get me wrong...I too think History is INCREDIBLY important. (I hold a B.A. in History.)
That being said, I feel that they both understand the history. They are truly smart men. They will have advisers to continually remind them of what has come before them.
I want to know what they are going to do NOW. How are you going to get us out of the mess in Iraq? How are you going to keep us from getting into another mess similar to Iraq?
