One Nation, Under God, Or Else...
Changing the constitution to meet God's standards?
But what about our right to not believe in God?
What about the separation of church and state? Guess that's not God's standards.

Oh dear. He just makes me laugh. To think that he might actually get enough ya-hoos to vote for him. I don't think that the people in that room (which is terribly far from me) that understand the concept of sep of church and state.
Still too fire and brimstone for me.
What some people, like those in that room, don't seem to understand is that they're only all enthusiastic about changing the Constitution to reflect THEIR image of G-d.
If that were a Jewish candidate up there saying we had to change the Constitution to enforce kosher dietary laws? They'd be having a screaming fit.
"But we're RIGHT!" sez they.
"That's not something any of us can know until it's too late to report back, is it?" sez I.

"*sigh*" sez I.

Ouch. I should know better than to post an incoherent message while on my 3rd-ish glass of wine. My apologies for my previous response!
Molly, you are right. Those are the same people that piss and moan if someone says a "non-protestant" prayer in public. Fortunately for them, Huck is ONLY wanting to sway things in their favor. Because you know, god does not want gay people to have equal rights. (Did you catch all that sarcasm dripping off there?)
He also does not want us to have the right to choose, the right to smoke in a bar, or kids to have the right to get a soft drink out of a school vending machine. Isn't it funny how god wants the exact same things that Huck is basing his campaign on?
Ok. I'm done. For now. Too early in the day to try and recover from a hangover AND bash on a politician simultaneously.
