Leaving FOR Las Vegas
I'm on my way today to go to a conference out in Las Vegas.
Really, it's a conference!
I know I've been bad lately about posting and it's only going to get worse as I head out there for a few days with the lovely wife.
I can't post from there because you know... what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Oh, come on. Give us a little. I was trying to explain Las Vegas to someone who had never been there and all I could say was, "You just have to appreciate it for what it is. Then leave quickly."

I've never been to vegas. I have heard some stories, which means, it doesn't stay there...
so I'll tell some from a virgin's eyes.

You must not miss Thomas Keller's Bouchon in the Venetian. Even their toast is spectacularly good.
One more hint. You won't find a single plaque or statue to the memory of Moe Green.

While you are there, notice that there are no clocks anywhere in any of the casinos. And then stay on budget.
