An Apology

Someone's alcoholism is not a joke.

It's not funny when someone is causing fear and pain in other's lives.

I simply could not get past the headline, which cracked me up.

Tacky.

Sorry.

Still laughing, though. Can't help it.

Yeah.....I was gonna ask you why you gotta rip on my friends like that!

All kidding aside....alcohlism is no joke. Don't we know that first hand?!?

But what isn't really funny is when people like her get away day after day with pulling this kind of crap!

Why isn't she in jail? She is probably still driving around drunk, and the folks in her trailer park shouldn't have to live in fear, and in garbage, with garbage.

I think if people are going to put themselves out there like that, it's fair game to say what you want.

However, with that being said, I think it just goes to show what a great person you are to apologize.
(why doesn't this site have a spellchecker option?)

I'm sorry... I'm tacky too. Like Casey stated, when people put themselves out there, it's fair game. I, for one, believe "political correctness" has gone too far. We are being so polite that we are not calling the pot or the kettle black. Some people don't respond to polite intervention. This is a strong example, I believe, of that. Some people just need to be ridiculed into a level of adulthood that they should have been following all along. How many bullies could we stop if we start standing up to them instead of pandering to their problems? I am tired of the few, with their problems, subjecting the many to ridiculous laws being passed to "protect us". We have become a society in which common sense will not be tolerated and the majority is being penalized for it. I say, "You go girl, and go strong!"
