I heard Babar, I mean Bob Barr speak once. It was all I could do to keep my head from nodding off into my crappy "conference chicken" dinner.

Sorry, Colbert dissected him, actually.
Colbert's interview with Salman Rushdie shows Colbert's growing mastery of his craft: he pretty much always knows who the smartest person in the room is. Except for a couple of small missteps, he let Rushdie tell his own jokes.
