I'm kind of sorry I missed his speech! I have listened to all of the pundits talk about how atrocious it was...kind of wish I heard it.
CQ gave him a 100% Bush follower rating in 2008 so far and 95% in 2007.
He's as stupid as Bush, rigid (except where bending or appearing to bend gives him a chance at power), bigoted, and maybe crazy to boot.
Let's beat that sucker.
I saw the speech on the net: Atrios or somebody posted it.
He wasn't actually *in* New Orleans as he said, but we can put that down to feeblemindedness. The best comment was from a guy on slashdot: how do you hold a rally in New Orleans and not get any black people?
Tell a lie. I've seen reports that Fauxbama and his wife were there. McCain's people probably stuck them behind a ficus so they wouldn't terrify his core constituency.
