Shut The Hell Up

If I hear "Marriage is between one man and one woman" one more time from Obama's mouth- or any Democrats mouth- I'm going to scream. Last night, while being questioned on California's decision, Obama just had to say it. One man, one woman.

How is this change? Leadership? Hope?

Or do only straight people get to hope?

As historical as having an African-American man run for the highest office in this nation is, it is not the only history being made today. The fact that the second state in this country- and a fairly BIG state- has laid claim to the belief that SEPARATE IS NOT EQUAL is just as historically significant.

Imagine that. Two states. More to follow. You can call Massachusetts a fluke but you simply can't ignore California, now can you?

I am sick of people telling me I should be more concerned with other issues- as if I'm not. Please. I can hold more than one thought in my head at a time. I care about the war. I care deeply that we get a democrat in office- McCain is a nightmare. The list goes on and on.

AND I WANT EQUALITY.

AND I WANT IT NOW.

You know, someone should mention to Senator Obama he could simply say, Marriage is for the states to decide. I'm running for a federal office.

Then shut the hell up. Next issue.

"One man one woman" isn't a definition of marriage, it's a REdefinition of marriage. And it's a transparent attempt toplacate the bigots who'll never vote for him anyway.

He'd better grow a backbone or we're all fucked.

Well I hope Joe Solomnese and the HRC folks will hold him accountable on this obvious pandering, but I really doubt it will happen.

And thanks for stopping by, Sara. "Fred" will respond, I'm sure.

He showed backbone in standing up to the gas tax pander - so, if that really is conviction, and not just pander - my god, what a disappointment.

For that matter, if it's just limp-spine pandering, that's a big disappointment, too.

But Sara's right - vote for him, try to hold him accountable, just keep McCain out. And try again in four years.

S*%t.

Marriage is between one man and one woman
Marriage is between one man and one woman
Marriage is between one man and one woman
Marriage is between one man and one woman

You’re the one who needs to shut the hell up because you and your fellow gay marriage cultists are ruining Obama’s chances of winning this November. The same-sex marriage issue always helps the GOP.

And if Obama does lose, guess what?? There are going to be millions who are going to blame you - Sara Whitman - as well as your fellow ilk. The great irony is that you could be making the lives of all gays, however they stand on G.M. issue - far more vexing. And you will have no one but yourselves to blame….

So you shut the hell up. NOW. Or face the consequences in November.
