Urgent Help Needed for Date Night Ideas
Quick... I need something fun to do with my wife tonight. She wants to go to a movie and there is not a single movie out (Milk has not made it to Boston yet) that I want to see.
I have to come up with a fun alternative and I have no idea what to do.
We had a big party here last night with lots of fancy food so a dinner out isn't really going to cut it. It's raining hard so a festive walk down Newbury Street is out of the question- but would have been my second choice.
Help! Any ideas? Otherwise, I'm destined to go see the James Bond movie and I really don't like James Bond movies.

I guess the swan boats are out of the question?
Hmm -- how about ice skating or a "dessert tasting" at a diner or a poetry reading (if you can find one) or a comedy show -- go to the casino... or ...
... go to the sex store and buy some toys. :D
Bowling, or something equally silly? I know kind of ridiculous, but sometimes laughter is the way to go.
Milk is at the Coolidge Corner and at Kendall Sq.
ps- slumdog millionaire is at W. Newton and is terrific!!
In defense of Bond...this is a new kind of Bond flick. I LOVED Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. (I didn't really like previous ones.)
Good luck finding something fun to do!
roller skating, dancing, coffee at your fav bookstore. Oh I know go get ice cream and make each other into sunday's
um, sundaes? hello? we have kids. I'm not doing that in the car.
and I love the sex store idea but jeanine would rather die.
love to bowl and that would have been the choice if in fact, lez zorba wasn't right and Milk was showing.
stunning movie. made me cry.
and made me really angry.
Lez Zorba, I wanted to see Slumdog Millionaire but I worried it might be a little deficient in explosions and car chases. Was it OK?
p.s., congrats on your date, Sara.
