Ben asked Jeanine last night, while she was cooking dinner, if there was any Raisin Bran for the morning.
I don't know, she said, look in the cabinet.
Can you check for me? He whined.
I would have said, no, but she, of course, said yes.
Not only was it funny, he pulled it off on the right parent.

Is this one of those "Magic Eye" thing? 'Cause I'm no good at those ....
RAISIN BRAIN cereal, instead of Raisin Bran. He had cut out a goofy ad in a teen magazine, taped it onto the box and put it in the cabinet.
